Hello, my name is Aiste Reynoso. My baby boy, Persey, got diagnosed with nasal lymphoma, a type of cancer. The tumor is deforming his face and causing breathing issues. He is 9 years young and the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. Prior to cancer diagnosis he was a healthy, happy boy. The oncologist told me that radiation treatment would shrink the tumor and kill cancer cells. He can have a good quality of life with the treatment. I am begging you to help me save him. I cannot afford the treatment. I have experienced work retaliation from my employer and lost my job. Just recently I found work again as a caregiver for elderly. My parents and few friends that I have cannot help me due to their own financial struggle. Radiation sessions need to start ASAP so that the cancer does not spread. Persey is my life, I love him so much, he is my family. Please, please, please, words cannot express how much your help means to me.

Downtown Naperville will be crawling with even more unique creatures this summer, in the form of oversized bug sculptures that will be on display near businesses downtown. These colorful bugs, set to invade the downtown area at the start of June, will feature a total of 18 bees, caterpillars, snail and ladybugs. Each bug is being sponsored by a Naperville-based business. The insect sculptures will be on display until Sept. 4 and the Downtown Naperville Alliance says a map of sculpture locations will be available soon.
