Park District Seeks Holiday Tree Donation

The Naperville Park District will display the tree at the location of the Dandelion Fountain.

Naperville homeowners with a large evergreen could play a critical role in Naperville’s holiday celebrations.

The is seeking the donation of a large evergreen tree to be placed at the Naperville Riverwalk this holiday season.

Each year, the park district seeks out a local evergreen that is placed in the Dandelion Fountain at Webster Street and Jackson Avenue. The park district is looking for a tree that is at least 15-feet tall. In the past, trees have been around 20-feet high, according to the Naperville Park District. A spruce or fir is preferred.

For easy access, the park district is also looking for a tree in a front yard so that a truck may haul it away.
