Park District Seeks Input On Proposed Capital Improvement Projects
The proposed projects include seven playground renovations and a shoreline renovation.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Residents are invited to share input about eight Capital Improvement Plan projects proposed by the Naperville Park District for 2026. The proposed projects include seven playground renovations and a shoreline renovation at Summerfield Lake Park.
To gather feedback, the park district is hosting a virtual open house July 16 through July 30 at 12 p.m. During the virtual open house, residents can learn more about each project, share feedback and ask questions.
In addition to the shoreline renovation and pond dredging at Summerfield Lake Park, the proposed projects include playground renovations at Apache Park, Burr Oaks Park, Fox Hill Greens, Knoch Park, Queensbury Greens, Springhill Park and Wil-O-Way Park.

A news release from the park district said, "It is important to note that detailed designs for the 2026 projects have not yet been developed. This is an opportunity for residents to provide their input prior to the design phase. Any community feedback received will be taken into consideration by Park District staff when formulating project designs and cost estimates for inclusion in the 2026 Capital Budget."
