Pennies For Pies Accepting Donations To Help Provide Pumpkin Pies To Families In Need
This marks the 19th year for the Pennies for Pies Drive, which was inspired by a lesson at a local pre-school in 2006.
NAPERVILLE, IL —The annual Pennies for Pies drive kicked off Nov. 3 in Naperville, with several locations throughout the Naperville Park District for residents to make monetary donations. The contributions will help fund the purchase of pumpkin pies for food insecure residents who receive Thanksgiving dinner via Loaves and Fishes.
Below are the locations accepting donations:
- Fort Hill Activity Center, 20 Fort Hill Dr., Naperville
- Knoch Knolls Nature Center, 320 Knoch Knolls Rd., Naperville
- Naperbrook Golf Course, 22204 W. 111th St., Plainfield
- Riverwalk Community Center, 305 W. Jackon Ave., Naperville
- Springbrook Golf Course, 2220 W. 83rd St., Naperville
Residents can also contribute via the park district's donation page. The deadline to donate is Nov. 21.

Pennies for Pies is marking its 19th year in 2025. The initiative was founded in 2006 and inspired by a lesson shared with local preschoolers about how small donations can add up to make a significant impact to help others.
In 2024, donations from the Pennies for Pies drive helped provide 130 pumpkin pies for residents in need.
