Piccolo Buco Opens At Block 59 In Naperville

The Roman-inspired restaurant, which falls under the umbrella of Cooper's Hawk, opened Aug. 25.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville's Block 59 welcomed Piccolo Buco on Aug. 25. This marks the second location for the Roman-inspired eatery, which is run by Cooper's Hawk.

The menu at Piccolo Buco features red, yellow and white Neapolitan pizzas. Diners can choose from classic margherita or carbonara, or opt for pies with such toppings asItalian sausage, Calabrian salami, prosciutto di Parma.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free pizzas are also available. The Fungo comes topped with wild mushrooms, Parmesan fonduta, basil and black garlic drizzled in truffle oil. The Vegan features eggplant, zucchini, roasted tomatoes and red peppers, black garlic and extra virgin olive oil.

Pastas, antipasti and other Italian favorites are also available. These range from truffle fondue cappellacci to meatballs or calamari. Featured entrees include braised short ribs and baked eggplant parmesan.

Diners can pair their meals with Cooper's Hawk signature wines, imported blends, beer or craft cocktails.

Piccolo Buco's Naperville location is at 456 Rte. 59. The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Earlier this year, Cheesecake Factory, Shake Shack, Stan's Donuts and First Watch also opened at Block 59.
