Police Blotter: 2 DUI Arrests

Driving under the influence

• Eduardo Garcia, 34, of the 1400 block of Fairway Drive, was arrested at 2:35 p.m. at North Aurora Road and N. Route 59, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence, driving on a suspended/revoked license, improper lane use, squealing and screeching tired and a defective side/rear/windshield. He was taken to the DuPage County Bond Court.
• Jeffrey James Amacher, 20, of the 1900 block of Saginaw Court, was arrested at 2:55 a.m. at S. Washington Street and E. 75^th Street, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and illegal possession/transportation of liquor. His bail was set at $3,000.

Theft

A 25-year-old man in the 2500 block of W. 75^th Street reported that between 5:20 and 6 p.m. he thought his wallet was stolen while he was working, police said.
