Police Blotter: Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, MIA Passport

Suspended/revoked license

  • Julio E. Reyes, 22, of the 300 block of North Central Avenue in Wood Dale, was arrested at 1:38 p.m. near Freedom Drive and East I-88, said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and operating a vehicle without insurance.
  • Sinikka C. Horton, 34, of the 800 block of Pas Court, was arrested at 10:28 a.m. near North Route 59 and North Aurora Road, police said. She was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license and operating a vehicle without insurance.

Possession of cannabis

Joseph Basem Labadi, 25, of the 100 block of Robin Hill Drive, was arrested at 1:08 a.m. near West Hillside Road and South West Street, police said. He was charged with making an improper turn at an intersection and possession of cannabis. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

No driver's license

Omar Morales-Silva, 24, of the 100 block of Golfview Lane in Carpentersville, was arrested at 9:31 a.m. in the 4800 block of South Route 59, police said. He was charged with no driver’s license and operating a vehicle without insurance.

Aggravated unlawful use of a weapon

Timothy Nicholas Tonkin, 23, of the 700 block of Crestview Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 10:58 p.m. in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with bail bond violation, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis greater than 2.5 grams and less than 10 grams. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.

"Where in the world is my passport?"

A resident lost a Republic of India passport somewhere between Mumbai, India and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates while on a flight between Mumbai and Chicago on July 29, police said.

Perfect timing

Someone entered an unlocked vehicle but was scared off by the victim’s son as he was pulling into the driveway in the 1100 block of Saratoga Court, police said. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.
