Police Blotter: Assault, Battery and Delivering Dope

The Naperville Police Department reports for Oct. 13.

Thursday, Oct. 13

Manifestation/Delivery

Sergio Sanchez, 17, of the 7500 block of Marietta Street, Orlando, FL, was arrested at 5:23 p.m. in the 100 block of 4th Avenue, said. He was charged with manifestation/delivery of cannabis. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Assault

Luther Lee Bass, 21, of the 100 block of Douglas Avenue, was arrested at 1:06 a.m. in the 100 block of North Brainard and School streets, where police said he was charged with three counts of assault and other charges. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Battery

Brian Ladell Gant, 27, of the 300 block of South Ottawa Street, Joliet, was arrested at 7:15 p.m. in the 1800 block of Centre Point Circle, where police said he was charged with battery. His bail was $1,500.

Driving under the influence

Robert Lewis Aguirre, 35, of the 1700 block of Paddington Avenue, was arrested at 9:18 p.m. in the 1500 block of Westminster Drive, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, driving without lights, driving in the wrong lane, failing to give a signal, not wearing a seatbelt and illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver. His bail was $100. 

Disorderly conduct

Randall John Farley, 45, of the 1800 block of Redwood Avenue, Hanover Park, was arrested at 10:07 p.m. in the 2700 block of Hassert Boulevard, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct. His bail was $1,500.

Pandering

Cornell Euegene Tubbs, 24, of the 400 block of Wilshire Street, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 7:08 p.m. in the 1800 block of Centre Point Circle, where police said he was charged with pandering and battery. His bail was $1,500. 

Theft

Someone reported that in the 2500 block of Dunraven Avenue about $750 in copper fittings were stolen from a townhome under construction. Between 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday someone entered the townhome and removed the fittings, police said.
