Police Blotter: Attempted Burglary and Possession
Naperville Police Department reports, Nov. 3

Thursday, Nov. 3
Possession
- Jayson Dewayne Drakes, 18, of the 2300 block of West Vernon Street, Blue Island, was arrested at 8:31 p.m. in the 400 block of South Brainard Street, said. He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.
- Joshua Butcher Class, 18, of the 1800 block of Santa Fe Drive, was arrested at 8:24 p.m. at West Fifth Avenue and West Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with improper lane use, improper plate/permit display, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of more than 10 grams of marijuana. His bail was $1,500.
Burglary
Someone reported a person attempted to force through the lower portion of an overhead garage door in the 100 block of Ambassador Drive, but was unsuccessful, police said.
Illegal consumption
Police cited someone with consumption of alcohol by a minor and possession of a fake ID card at 1:42 a.m. at Hillside Road and South Washington Street.
