Police Blotter: Battery and Prostitution Arrests

Monday, Aug. 22
Warrant arrest
Andre Darnell Sangster, 20, of the 900 block of Salvia Lane, Joliet, was arrested at 8:29 p.m. at 103rd Street and South Route 59 on DuPage County failure to appear warrant, police said. His bail was $2,500.
Battery
George Tysean Walker, 19, of the 300 block of West Ogden Avenue, was arrested at 7:41 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Mill Street on charges of battery and consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to police. His bail was $1,500.

Disorderly conduct
Sirkevin Martett Brown, 18, of the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive, was arrested at 7:38 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Mill Street on charges of disorderly conduct, violating a bail bond and consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to police. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Prostitution
Kristine Leigh Juline, 28, of the 20 block of W370 Geneva Road, West Chicago, was arrested at 4:22 p.m. in the 2900 block of Audrey Avenue, police said. She was charged with prostitution, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the health, life of a child.

Vehicle burglary
- Police said someone reported in the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive that between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 21 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 22, locked vehicles were entered and CDs were taken.
- Between 10 p.m. Aug. 21 and 6 a.m. Aug. 22, unlocked vehicles in the 1100 block of Burke Court were entered and items were taken, police said.
Criminal damage to property
- A resident in the 1100 block of North Eagle Street reported that overnight on Aug. 12 and 13, someone threw a rock through the living room window, leaving a crack and a two-inch hole where the rock went through, police said.
- Overnight between Aug. 20 and 21, someone smashed a yard decoration in the 4400 block of Esquire Circle, police said. The décor was taken and smashed in the driveway and empty Gatorade bottles were left in its place.
