Police Blotter: DUI, 2 Charged With Burglary, Thief Gets Spooked

Thursday, Oct. 18
Theft
Brandie Michelle Walker, 21, of the 2600 block of Stoneybrook Lane in Aurora, was arrested at 6:13 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. She was charged with theft and her bond was $300.

- Glenn Alan Girardin, 56, of the 6400 block of Franciscan Avenue, was arrested at 1:54 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Nape Boulevard, police said. He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
- Stephen John Morzos, 34, of the 1600 block of Westminster Drive, was arrested at 1:59 p.m. in the 1600 block of Westminster Drive, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $300.
Suspended/revoked license
Michael J. Chesnul, 25, of the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive, was arrested at 10:32 a.m. near Meridian Lakes Drive and North Route 59, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance and driving on a suspended/revoked license. His bail was $2,000.

Burglary
- Nicholas Joseph Cox, 17, of the 5700 block of South Wolcott Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 7:18 pm. In the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with burglary and transported to DuPage County Jail.
- Bobby Lee Battle, 21, of the 5700 block of South Princeton Street in Chicago, was arrested at 7:34 p.m. in the 200 block of 4th Avenue, police said. He was charged with burglary and transported to DuPage County Jail.
Possession of cannabis
Casey James White, 20, of the 400 block of South Brainard Street, was arrested at 11:08 p.m. in the 100 block of South Loomis Street, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. His bond was $120.
Unlawful towing of a vehicle
Celso Cortes, 39, of the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive, was arrested at 11:21 p.m. near North Mill Street and Bauer Road, police said. He was charged with no driver’s license and unlawful towing of a vehicle. His bail was $1,500.
Thief gets spooked
Someone witnessed an unknown male inside a parked vehicle in the driveway in the 2900 block of White Thorn Circle. When the man was spotted, he fled eastbound on White Thorn Circle on foot, police said.
Hose stolen
A 100-foot, commercial grade ¾ inch garden hose was taken in the 1700 block of Frost Lane, police said.
Lost license
A license was reported lost somewhere in downtown Naperville, police said.
