Police Blotter: DUI, Aggravated Assault, Forgery

Forgery

Sonia Atterberry, 22, was arrested at 2:57 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. She was charged with forgery. She posted bond.

Warrant arrest

• Eddie Huggins, 30, was arrested at 1:50 p.m. in the 300 block of Woodcreek, police said. He was charged on a warrant and transported to DuPage County Jail.
• Eric Michael Marras, 26, was arrested at 12:50 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. He was charged on a warrant. He posted bond. 
• Nicole Atterberry, 22, was arrested at 2:57 p.m. at the Naperville Police Department, police said. She was charged on a warrant. She posted bond.  

Aggravated assault

Kyle Anthony Rhoden, 19, was arrested at 8:45 a.m. in the 1200 block of Bond Street, police said. He was charged with aggravated assault after he refused to allow school counselors to check him when a metal detector went off after he walked through it, police said. Rhoden then allegedly threw a punch at a counselor, but missed. Rhoden was detained and later arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault. He posted bond.

No insurance

Masroor Alam Shamsi, 39, was arrested at 1:50 p.m. near South Route 59 and 83rd Street, police said. He was charged with operating a vehicle without insurance. He posted bond. 

Driving under the influence

Ronald John Preston, 62, was arrested at 6:21 p.m. in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after allegedly causing a crash involving three vehicles. He posted bond. 

Possession of drug paraphernalia

• Noel Yunue Bibriesca, 23, was arrested at 10:41 p.m. near South Route 59 and 83rd Street, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released to another agency. 
• Jonathan Daniel Lopez, 21, was arrested at 11:52 p.m. near South Washington Street and West Van Buren Avenue, police said. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted bond.

Suspended/revoked license

Juan Lopez, 33, was arrested at 10:41 p.m. near North Aurora Road and Eola Road, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. He posted bond.
