Police Blotter: DUI, False Alarm, Scene from 'The Hangover'

Naperville Police Department reports, July 6-8

Friday, July 6

No driver’s license

Sandra Guzman, 41, of the 1500 block of Georgia Court, was arrested at 5:12 p.m. near South Whispering Hills Drive and West Jefferson Avenue, said. She was charged with disobeying a stop sign and no driver’s license. Her bail was $1,500.

Driving under the influence

  • Evita Monique Hill, 31, of the 3100 block of River Bend Court in Laurel, Indiana, was arrested at 3:17 a.m. in the 300 block of South Route 59, police said. She was charged with speeding and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. Her bond was $300.
  • Noren Tremayne Mathews, 39, of the 400 block of Harriet Lane in West Sacramento, was arrested at 8:28 a.m. near East 75th Street and Wehrli Road, police said. He was charged with improper parking in a roadway and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bond was $300.

Soliciting without a permit

  • Luther Bradley, 40, of the 100 block of Union Circle in Kline, was arrested at 7:36 p.m. in the 400 block of Hobson Road, police said. He was charged with soliciting without a permit. His bond was $120. 
  • Samuel Woodward, 32, of the 900 block of North College Street in Charlotte, was arrested at 7:41 p.m. near Hobson Road and Hobson Mill Drive, police said. He was charged with soliciting without a permit. His bond was $120.

Possession of cannabis

  • Luis Angel Rojas, 20, of the 1100 block of South Washington Hills Drive, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. in the 400 block of South Washington Street, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was $120.
  • Mark Jeffery Weimer, 18, of the 100 block of Waxwing Avenue, was arrested at 9:01 p.m. near Jackson Avenue and South West Street, police said. He was charged with illegal possession/transportation of liquor, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. His bond was $120.

Disorderly conduct 

Austin James Smith, 18, of the 500 block of North Ellsworth Street, was arrested at 8:44 p.m. near Jackson Avenue and South West Street, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct breach of peace. His bond was $120.

Scene from "The Hangover"?

An intoxicated 19-year-old barefoot woman was banging on a door in the 1500 block of North Columbia Street at 3 a.m., police said. She had no clue where she was or how she got there.

Saturday, July 7

Driving under the influence

  • Judy Patricia Clark, 60, of the 2600 block of Copperfield Court, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. near Ring Road and South Washington Street, police said. She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. Her bond was $300.
  • Police said Stephen Joseph Lucatorto, 25, of the 4700 block of Tiffany Place in Joliet, was arrested at 2:32 a.m. near West Hillside Road and South Main Street. He was charged with illegal lane usage, no muffler, crossing double yellow lines, failure to give a signal, speeding, right-of-way violation, traffic control device violation and two counts of driving under the influence. His bail was $3,000.
  • Anthony George Williams, 21, of the 600 block of Adams Street in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:17 a.m. in the 900 block of East Chicago Avenue, police said. He was charged with improper turn at intersection, failure to give a signal and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. His bail was $3,000.
  • Patrick Joseph Trapp, 42, of the 1700 block of Shagbark Court, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. near West Benton Avenue and North Mill Street, police said. He was charged with speeding, operating a vehicle without insurance, driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic control violation. His bail was $3,000.
  • Steven Edward Gerzen, 24, of the 11100 block of Highland Drive, was arrested at 1:12 a.m. in the 3000 block of Reflection Drive, police said. He was charged with improper lane usage, possession of drug paraphernalia, squealing tires and two counts of driving under the influence. His bond was $300.

Soliciting without a permit

  • Shawn Anthony Woodward, 29, of the 1600 block of West Marquette Road in Chicago, was arrested at 4:52 p.m. in the 900 block of Hidden Lake Road, police said. He was charged with soliciting without a permit. His bond was $120.
  • Cornelius Jefferson Morris, 42, of the 8500 block of U.S. Highway 20 in Michigan City, Indiana, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. near Olesen Drive and Cheshire Avenue, police said. He was charged with soliciting without a permit. His bond was $120.

Aggravated DUI

January Violet Nelson, 39, of the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive, was arrested at 12:47 a.m. near Benedetti Drive and Pacific Drive, police said. She was charged with aggravated DUI, failure to give a signal, endangering the health of a child and operating a vehicle while texting. She was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Retail theft

Olivia Ramirez-Hernandez, 54, of the 100 block of C Ramona Cerda in Ocotlan, Jalisco, Mexico was arrested at 3:36 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 75th Street. She was charged with retail theft after taking two bottles of perfume and three pieces of jewelry totaling $104.85, police said. Her bond was $120.

Warrant arrest

Michael Anthony Hays, 28, of the 16100 block of Seneca Lake Circle in Crest Hill, was arrested at 1:45 a.m. in the first block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. His bail was $9,000.

Sunday, July 8

Retail theft

  • Ira Wicks, 45, of the 200 block of South 12th in Maywood, was arrested at 4:56 p.m. on Interstate 88, police said. He was charged with retail theft. His bail was $1,500.
  • Latasha Nicole Morris, 31, of the 400 block of South 21st Avenue in Maywood, was arrested at 4:56 p.m. on I-88, police said. She was charged with retail theft, no insurance, driving on a suspended/revoked license, operating a vehicle without insurance. Her bail was $3,000.
  • Nathaniel Norwood, 23, of the 4000 block of West Adams Street in Chicago, was arrested at 4:56 p.m. on I-88, police said. He was charged with retail theft.

Warrant arrest 

  • Dexter Dwayne Jones, 21, of the 900 block of North McLean Boulevard in Elgin, was arrested at 4:09 a.m. in the 1600 block of West Diehl Road, police said. He was charged with obstructing identification and two failure-to-appear warrants. He was transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Juan Antonio Cardenas, 18, of the 500 block of West Benton Avenue, was arrested at 8:53 p.m. in the 300 block of South Washington Street, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant and transported to DuPage County Jail.
  • Isaac Theodore Herrera, 23, of the 400 block of Hackney Lane in Oswego, was arrested at 1:52 a.m. in the first block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant and transported to DuPage County Jail.

False fire alarm

Jatarrah Jessica Hicks, 26, of the 1000 block of West 14th Street in Chicago, was arrested at 11:06 p.m. in the 100 block of Fourth Avenue, police said. She was charged with false fire alarm. Her bond was $120.

Battery 

Harland Douglas White, 30, of the 1500 block of Lighthouse Drive, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. near West Van Buren Avenue and South Main Street, police said. He was charged with three counts of resisting a peace officer, battery, three counts of knowingly damaging property and a failure-to-appear warrant.

Don't light that match

A woman was cited with having industrial grade fireworks on her property in the 3500 block of Fairmont Avenue, police said.
