Police Blotter: Driving on Drugs, Green-Thumbed Thief, School Break-In
Naperville Police Department reports, July 9

Driving under the influence
Billy Joel Turner, 31, of the 17500 block of Larkspur Court in Homer Glen, was arrested at 7:26 p.m. in the first block of South Naper Boulevard, said. He was charged with unsafe backing on roadway, no driver’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of drugs. His bail was $3,000.
Suspended/revoked license
Mitchell Charles Pitter, 18, of the 1800 block of Blossom Ridge in Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:08 a.m. near 95th Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road, police said. He was charged with no insurance and driving on suspended/revoked license. His bail was $3,000.
Possession of another's credit card
Catlin Jessi Knutson, 24, of the 900 block of State Street in Lemont, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. in the 1400 block of Maybrook Drive, police said. She was charged with not wearing a seat belt, failure to notify Secretary of State of driver's license address change, operating a vehicle without insurance, driving on a suspended/revoked license and possession of another person's credit card. She was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Breaking, and entering
Juveniles climbed a roof and entered the courtyard of in the 1300 block of Springdale Circle, and destroyed five large potted planters between Thursday and Monday morning, police said.
Stolen wallet
A wallet was stolen from Jewel in the 1200 block of South Naper Boulevard, police said.

Green-thumbed thief
Two metal plant stands with plants inside were stolen from a driveway of a home in the 1400 block of Larsen Lane, police said.
Uninvited guests
A man found cigarette butts on his rear patio and his screen door open in the 1200 block of Laurel Lane, police said.
Attempted break-in
Someone tried to break into an apartment in the 700 block of Royal Saint George Drive by prying open the front door, police said.
