Police Blotter: Elevator Gets Smoke-Bombed, Stolen Vodka

Naperville Police Department reports, July 4

Wednesday, July 4

Property damage

Kenneth William Hansen, 19, of the 600 block of Balmoral Circle, was arrested at 9:28 p.m. in the first block of West Van Buren Avenue, said. He was charged with criminal damage to property. His bond was $120.

Theft

Lois Adams, 20, of the 2800 block of West Congress Parkway in Chicago, was arrested at 4:24 p.m. in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue. He was charged with retail theft after stealing a bottle of vodka, police said. His bail was $1,500.

Retail theft 

Kelly Konstantinov, 28, of the 9000 block of Mansfield Avenue in Morton Grove, was arrested at 2:45 p.m. near 26th Avenue and California Street in Chicago, police said. She was charged with three counts of retail theft and transported to DuPage County Jail.

Elevator gets smoke bombed

A 19-year-old lit a smoke bomb in an elevator inside of the Van Buren Parking Deck, police said. 

Fireworks tickets

  • A citation was issued for fireworks being launched in the street in the 600 block of North Wright Street, police said.
  • A resident was cited for fireworks in the 3800 block of Mandeville Lane, police said.
