Police Blotter: Firearm Possession; Vehicles Burglarized

MONDAY, Aug. 1
Possession of a firearm
Michael Wayne Colley, 26, of the 60 block of Louis Prester Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 12:48 a.m. in the 1600 block of W. Diehl Road and charged with carrying/possessing a firearm, police said. His bail was set at $1,500.
Possession of cannabis
Robert Nicholas Demaria, 21, of the 600 block of Yosemite Avenue, was arrested at 10:08 p.m. at his home where he was charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams, police said.
Property damage
A 22-year-old man at Prestwick and Fairway drives reported at 5:39 a.m. that a Pontiac Grand Prix passenger side window was smashed and had significant pry marks to the frame, police said. Nothing appeared to be stolen.

Vehicle burglarized
A 21-year-old woman in the 1600 block of Prestwick Drive reported at 8 a.m. that an Audi was entered overnight and an older model notebook laptop was stolen, police said.
A 28-year-old man in the 1500 block of Fairway Drive reported at 9:15 a.m. that overnight someone broke the roof glass and entered a 1993 Ford Explorer taking a “low-end” Sony car stereo, which he purchased new for $30, police said. The sunroof was shattered, allowing for entry and exit from the vehicle.

A 48-year-old man in the 900 block of Stonehenge Court reported that between 1:30 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday the rear window of a Chrysler Town & Country van was stolen from the vehicle overnight while the van was parked in a driveway, police said.
Vandalism
A 48-year-old female in the 0 block of W. Bailey Road reported at 10:39 p.m. that two vehicles and a home were egged, police said.
