Possession of Cannabis, DUI, Theft: Police Blotter

Possession of cannabis

Matthew Allen Kostopoulus, 19, was arrested at 12:36 a.m. in the 2200 block of Salisbury Drive, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis. He posted bond. 

DUI

Jillian Marie-Ann Nizdil, 35, was arrested at 2:54 a.m. near Naper Boulevard and East 75th Street, police said. She was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She posted bond. 

Theft

Oskar M. Bryniarski, 28, was arrested at 10:34 a.m. in the 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue, police said. He was charged with theft and transported to DuPage County Jail. 

Retail theft

• Shane M. Wiekert, 22, was arrested at 11:59 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Washington Street, police said. He was charged with retail theft. He posted bond. 
• Vicky Vernice Britton, 38, was arrested at 3:25 p.m. in the 700 block of Fort Hill Drive, police said. She was charged with retail theft and transported to DuPage County Jail. 
• Rosalind Elizabeth Wright, 48, was arrested at 3:29 p.m. in the 700 block of Fort Hill Drive, police said. She was charged with retail theft. She posted bond. 

Suspended/revoked license

Alfred Wroblewski, 38, was arrested at 6:18 p.m. near Beebe Drive and South Route 59, police said. He was charged with driving on a suspended/revoked license. He posted bond. 

Warrant

Maricela Lopez, 32, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. near 75th Street and South Naper Boulevard, police said. She was charged on a failure-to-appear warrant. She posted bond. 

Stolen garage door opener

Someone stole a garage door opener from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of South Sleight Street, police said.
