Pronto Italian Sandwiches Now Open On Washington Street
The gourmet sandwich shop opened its third location at 221 S. Washington St. on Oct. 7.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Pronto Italian Sandwiches opened its third location Tuesday at 221 S. Washington St. in Naperville. The gourmet sandwich shop imports meats from Italy and bakes torpedo and schiaccita bread in-house to craft subs inspired by the family recipes of founders Dana and Peter Burdi.
Diners have their choice of an array of sandwiches to choose from on Pronto's menu. Most of the sandwiches take their name from famous Italian celebrities. There's the Loren, which comes piled high with spiced zucchini, artichokes, roasted eggplant and fresh mozzarella, and is slathered with sun-dried tomato spread. The Scorsese accents a base of burrata, mortadella and arugula with hot honey, pistachios and pistachio cream.
Minestrone, chopped salads and health-conscious bowls are also available.
