Renovations Close Springbrook Golf Course Until 2023

Springbrook Golf Course closed for play Aug. 1, but the driving range, clubhouse and practice section are still open.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Springbrook Golf Course is closed as of Aug. 1 to allow crews to begin maintenance work that includes replacing tees and bunkers, updating green surrounds, and adding bridges and paths.

During the closure, which is expected to last until spring or summer of 2023, patrons can still access the course's driving range, clubhouse and practice area. Golfers can also head to Naperbrook Golf Course in Plainfield to play, though park district officials encourage reservations as demand may be greater due to Springbrook's closure.

“We recognize that the closing of Springbrook will reduce the available tee times for our patrons of both courses and make things a bit more challenging temporarily for our golfers,” Naperville Park District Director of Golf Kevin Carlson said in a news release. “However, we hope our players are as excited as we are regarding the improvements at Springbrook, and look forward to seeing everyone back at Springbrook next summer.”
