Second Amazon Fresh Store Likely Coming To Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville will likely soon be home to a second Amazon Fresh store – the company is hiring store associates and has requested a liquor license.

Though the company has yet to confirm that they are the tenant of the property at 1351 E. Ogden Ave., the city is in possession of an inquiry from Amazon about applying for a liquor license at that location, Naperville communications specialist Kelley Munch told Patch.

Additionally, the Chicago Tribune reported that the building, located at the northwest corner of Ogden Avenue and Naper Boulevard, is currently being renovated and looks "almost identical to the Amazon Fresh store at Route 59 and 95th Street."

Amazon's jobs website says the company is hiring grocery, food service and kitchen associates for a grocery store in Naperville. Pay starts at $15, the website says, and benefits are available.

The jobs website describes Amazon Fresh as "a new grocery store designed from the ground up to offer a seamless grocery shopping experience, whether customers are shopping in store or online."
