Stolen Eagle? Police Searching for Culprits in Theft of Statue

Police are offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.

Calling all bird watchers, an eagle is on the loose. 

Police said a wooden eagle statue was stolen from the front porch of a residence in the 100 block of South Sleight Street sometime after 11 p.m. Thursday, May 9. 

The statue, which is five feet tall and three feet wide, was discovered stolen on Friday, May 10 at 9:30 a.m., according to police.

Anyone who may have information is asked to call Naperville Crimestoppers at 630-420-6006. All callers may remain anonymous. A reward of up to $1,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest.
