Stove Fire Causes $100K In Damages To Apartment Complex In Naperville
The fire broke out Monday morning in the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A stove fire caused $100,000 in damage to an apartment complex in Naperville Monday morning.
Fire crews were called to the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive around 10 a.m. for a report of a fire.
Police were first to get to the scene and found "heavy smoke coming from a second floor unit," a news release said. Officers evacuated occupants from the apartment complex and tried to use extinguishers to put out the blaze, but thick smoke hindered their efforts.

When firefighters arrived, they used a hose to put out the fire on the second floor. It took 15 minutes to put the fire out, per the news release.
The complex's four units were deemed to be uninhabitable in the wake of the fire.
