Taxi Driver Killed In Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash On I-88

NAPERVILLE, IL — One person is dead following a hit-and-run crash that took place on I-88 just east of Route 59, according to Illinois State Police (ISP).

Preliminary investigation suggests an Audi sedan and Nissan SUV crashed into each other just before 11 p.m. The driver of the SUV, which was a taxi, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Audi driver fled the scene on foot and is still being sought by police.
