Tennis Club Thieves Caught in the Act, Police Say
Naperville Police found two men inside the Naperville Tennis Club early Sunday morning.

Thieves who burglarized a tennis club in Naperville were caught in the act over the weekend, police said.
Jonathan M. Klimek, 21, of the 0 block of S445 Millcreek Court, and Philippe A. Ayala, 25, of the 2100 block of Walcott Road, Aurora, were caught at 4:34 a.m. Sunday when they were attempting to enter the , 1011 E. Benton Ave., the said.
Police responded to the tennis club after a burglar alarm was activated, and when they arrived found the club's rear door forced open. Once inside the building, officers discovered that the men, who were hooded and masked, were still inside, police said.

The men attempted to flee from the scene, heading in opposite directions, but additional police had been called to the tennis club and a perimeter around the club was in place. Both men were taken into custody after brief foot pursuits, police said.
Cash and other items were recovered from the men and are believed to have been taken in the burglary, police said. Investigators also believe the men are responsible for at least one other previously reported burglary to a swim club on Naperville's South Side. Investigations are ongoing in the swim club burglaries, which took place over the summer.
