Three Middle-aged Women Arrested in Separate DUIs This Weekend: Naperville Crime Summary

One of the women was arrested in Naperville for a DUI just after 9 a.m.

The following information was obtained from Naperville Police Department reports:

Brandon Hughes, a 33-year-old from Naperville, was arrested last Wednesday on the 1300 block of Aurora Ave. on the felony charge of aggravated battery to a police officer. He was released on bond.

Richard Rodriguez was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol last Thursday at the intersection of East 75th Street and Washington Street. The 29-year-old from Bolingbrook was released on bond.

Thomas Gorski, a 20-year-old Naperville man, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance last Thursday on the 1100 block of Cornell Lane. He was transported to the DuPage County Jail.

Doina Andrei, a 56-year-old woman from Lisle, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on Saturday morning at 9:09 a.m. The arrest occurred at the intersection of South Naper Blvd. and Market Ave. She was released on bond.

Tammy Benson was arrested on Saturday night on the 400 block of South Aurora Drive for driving under the influence of alcohol. The 45-year-old from Batavia was released on bond.

Laura Tinney, a 42-year-old from Naperville was arrested just before 2 a.m. Sunday morning at the intersection of Aurora and Ogden Avenues for driving under the influence of alcohol. She was released on bond.

In addition to the arrests listed above, there were four people arrested for outstanding warrants, two people arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked license, and four people arrested for theft.

An arrest and charge of a crime are not a finding of guilt.
