Top Agent Dan Firks Celebrates One Year With Keller Williams

Dan Firks of Defined Realty Group is a licensed realtor of more than two decades who specializes in helping clients purchase and sell single-family homes and income properties. He prides himself on his knowledge of current transactions, school districts, neighborhoods and related services, including mortgages, insurance and inspections.

After celebrating his first anniversary with Keller Williams on Oct. 1, Firks is setting high goals for 2018 with the expansion of his team being the main priority.

“My team has built a lot of great relationships already,” said Firks, who has spent more than 22 years in real estate in the western Chicago suburbs. “We’ve made some important, great hires in the first year and put the models and systems in place that Keller Williams provides all their colleagues. We’re looking forward to strengthening this even further.”

In his second year, Firks wants to expand his team from three to 10 agents and increase sales volume by 73 percent from $30 million to $52 million. He’s been helping his team prepare through coaching, education and role-playing with other agents in the office.

“I can’t let this milestone pass without thanking my team leaders, Caryn Prall and Karen Scholle, for their constant support and advice,” Firks said. “I could not have done it without them.”

Firks worked with RE/MAX from 1996 to 2016. Throughout his career, he has closed more than $800 million in transactions, garnered more than 190 5-star reviews on Zillow, earned the RE/MAX Lifetime Achievement Award and become a Chicago Magazine 5-Star Realtor.

“The past year at Keller Williams has been a true eye opener,” Firks said. “The culture is amazing, the tools are powerful, and the systems are flawless. I look forward to running my business with Keller Williams for many years to come; they are now my new family!”
