URGENT - Foster Homes Needed THIS Saturday 8/9!

Please help us save these deserving dogs.

URGENT! - Foster Homes Needed! Can Arrive Saturday 8/9 but we need committed foster homes first. We are an all foster based rescue and count on the generosity of our community to open their homes to save these lives.

We need to commit by Thursday at NOON!

Roo- puppy 2 months 20lbs ish sweet and social, loves a belly rub and playing with people and dogs!

Daisy Mae 4 months and 15 lbs - her own dragged her with a car she is healing from her injuries and building her confidence and trust. She is with temp foster who says she is blossoming!

Coco and Sebastian – 8-month-old 20 ish lbs siblings found on a country road. They are healthy, very sweet, and love dogs of all sizes. They have been around children since being found and do wonderfully with them. They can fostered separately.

Blues Clues female 7 months 3 lbs Looks like a whippet mix! Athletic and can jump and climb but her energy is matched by her sweet disposition. She loves everyone human and dog! Loves kisses.

Golddigger male 10 months 46lbs hw neg can be silly but very respectful. Stunning boy with energy and a zest for life! Loves people kids and other dogs. He does well with the kid volunteers.

Echo – 1.5 40lbs Former shelter office dog. Calm, minimal barking, and keeps a clean kennel. He has recently gained weight and is on a short course of thyroid medication. His coat is now beautiful, and staff describe him as a great “office dog” who enjoys company and is easygoing.

AC – 2.5 years, 50lbs Described as “the perfect pup.” Calm, friendly, and well-behaved in all situations. He recently attended an adoption event where he met a variety of people (men, women, children) and many dogs and was absolutely perfect. Walks well on a leash. Social butterfly

Nugget 9 months 28 lbs– Young German Shepherd mix, about half-grown. Cute, sweet, and playful with her dog friends at the shelter. Recently treated for demodex (non-contagious mange) and is almost completely healed.

Duke – 1.5 59 lbs Extremely sweet boy who loves people. Shelter staff say they would adopt him in a heartbeat. He was a stray cared for by a local man until the shelter had space. Duke does shed, but he is a wonderful, affectionate dog. He can ge too silly in playgroup but does take corrections.

Whiskey – 1.5 years 68lbs A smart and social dog who knows basic commands. Shelter staff say she is a favorite and would foster her themselves if she didn’t climb fences. Whiskey enjoys other dogs, is people-friendly, and will make a great family companion.

Moose – 2 years, 80lbs One of the shelter’s biggest favorites. He has a big head, a gentle personality, and walks beautifully on a leash. Moose is calm, loves people, and is clean and quiet in his kennel. He enjoys playing with other dogs but avoids conflict if another dog gets aggressive. Prefers smaller dogs but lived with other dogs.

Roxanne – 2 years, 46 lbs Young, bouncy, and very friendly. Shy at first but loves people and other dogs and has lots of energy. She is not yet housebroken but is very smart and eager to learn. Roxanne is just barely out of her puppy stage and would thrive with training and playtime.

Ripley #25157 – 2-4 year-old female, 14.4 lbs, heartworm positive. She came in with two puppies who have already gone to rescue. Ripley is playful with other dogs, gentle on leash, and bonds closely with people. She does not like being left alone for long periods. Very affectionate with her people and super sweet.

Ruby #25152 – 1-year-old female pit mix, 41 lbs, heartworm negative. Ruby loves belly rubs, people, and dogs. She does well in play groups and is known as the “Walmart Greeter” of the shelter because she loves to kiss other dogs as they walk past her kennel. She walks wonderfully on a leash and has a happy, affectionate personality. Loves playgroup and gives kisses to her doggie friends. Good with children 5 & 8 during a foster stay.

Breaker 1 year 65lbs, he loves dogs and people especially kids!! He has energy and does well in playgroup, if it’s a larger group he likes to be in charge but is settling with his recent neuter. People are his favorite!

While you foster, we provide a crate, food, toys, leash, collar, and vetting at our participating vet offices. You provide a safe and comfortable place to lay their head while they get their fresh start.
