Velvet Taco, Cheesecake Factory, Ruth's Chris To Occupy Block 59

NAPERVILLE, IL — Several new restaurants are set to populate the new redevelopment at Route 59 and Aurora Avenue in Naperville, including a Shake Shack, a Velvet Taco and a Cheesecake Factory, according to an update from developers.
The 82,500 square foot site has been under development by Brixmor Group since summer of 2024. Design concepts on Brixmor Group's website show a bustling pedestrian plaza with pergolas, al fresco seating and landscaping.
Other restaurants planned for the redevelopment include Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, First Watch, Fresh Fin and Piccolo Buco, which is part of the Cooper's Hawk brand.

Brixmor Group's concept package describes Block 59 as a "next-gen destination" that "vows to offer mixed-use activities for everyone, every day, every time."
The update said, "With upgraded landscaping, signage, lighting, and improved pedestrian and vehicular circulation, Block 59, along with Westridge Court, will become a neighborhood destination for the Naperville community."
