Vintage Car Show, Brewery Tours, Dad's Day Market To Fête Fathers In Naperville

The events on June 14 and June 15 in Naperville are dedicated to dear old Dad, but they're open for everyone.

NAPERVILLE, IL — During Father's Day weekend, you can find events in Naperville that are dedicated to celebrating dads. The Downtown Naperville Vintage Car Show and a Father's Day Market at Noon Whistle Brewing are geared toward fathers, but anyone can attend these events.

Jackson Avenue will be lined with 100 classic cars and souped-up coupes for the Downtown Naperville Vintage Car Show on June 14. Most of the cars in the show are 50 years or older, according to the Downtown Naperville Alliance website.

Attendees can stroll the Riverwalk area from Eagle to Main to check out the vintage vehicles on display. The free car show will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Father's Day Market and Brewery Tours at Noon Whistle Brewing

More than a dozen artisans will offer items for purchase, and brewery tours will be available for the Father's Day Market at Noon Whistle Brewing on June 15. The assortment of items includes guitars crafted from cigar boxes, medieval-inspired accessories, candles in repurposed beer cans and more.

Visitors can tour Noon Whistle's brewery for $15, with tours beginning at 1 p.m. Noon Whistle will also offer a discount of 20 percent on its carryout beer and merchandise.

Food will be available for purchase for the event, but attendees may also bring their own eats, per a news release.

"Whether you’re shopping for your dad, your partner, your brother—or just yourself—this is a great opportunity to pick up something truly unique,” John E. Streetz, event curator and founder of Streetz Artz Alliance, shared in statement.

Streetz added, “It’s a cozy, intimate show with high-quality handmade goods, all inside the brewery with plenty of seating outdoors if the weather’s nice.”
