West Suburban Irish Parade Set For March 15 In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — Planning is underway for the 2025 West Suburban Irish Parade, which will be held March 15 in Naperville. Organizers are currently looking for businesses, sports teams, performance groups and other organizations that would like to participate in the beloved event.

The parade will step off at 10 a.m. from the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Mill Street, heading south on Mill to Jefferson. Via Jefferson, the parade will continue onto Main Street. The parade comes to a close at Naperville Central High School, near the intersection of Porter and Webster Avenues.

Founded in 1993, the West Suburban Irish Parade is part of annual actives throughout Naperville that celebrate Irish heritage for St. Patrick's Day.

Marching bands, Irish dance groups, bagpipers and drum corps can participate in the parade at no cost. Youth groups and nonprofits pay $40 to march, whereas local businesses, candidates and elected officials pay $200.

In addition to the West Suburban Irish Parade, residents can attend an Irish Mass in Gaelic and English, set for March 12 at 7 p.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. West Suburban Irish is also hosting a series of quiz nights that kick off Feb. 4 and will be held at Quigley's Irish Pub. Quigley's is also hosting a series of Irish Session Music.
