What Caused Sunday's Power Outage in North Naperville?

Some north Naperville residents experienced a power outage Sunday night.

Residents in north Naperville experienced a brief power outage Sunday evening. 

The outage affected about 2,100 residents between 8:22 p.m. to 10:05 p.m. Sunday due to a main breaker trip at the city's Ogden Avenue substation, Naperville communications manager Linda LaCloche said in an email.

"Customers were out of service from 28 to 103 minutes as service was restored by field personnel performing switching operations," LaCloche wrote in an email Monday.

Naperville subdivisions affected included Brush Hill, Willoway, Cress Creek, Creekside, Flynn Lauth, Bridgewater, Brookdale, Windscape Village, and Cress Creek Square.
