The Chicago Cubs have announced a trophy tour over the next several months that will include a display in Naperville. The tour started at the Cubs store on Michigan Avenue on Friday, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The next stop on the tour will be Chicago City Hall on Thursday, December 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
While no dates or specific locations were announced, other Chicago area stops include Naperville, Elgin and Schaumburg. The trophy will also visit other cities in Illinois, Iowa and Indiana.

The trophy will accompany the team to spring training in Mesa Arizona before returning to Chicago for the Cubs' home opener on April 10, 2017.
Unlike the Stanley Cup, which is passed between NHL champions, a new World Series trophy is made each year for the winning team.
