2 Shot In Homewood, Man In Custody: Police
A 47-year-old man was in custody after police said two people were shot inside a home in Homewood Wednesday night.
Police responded to a house in the 1200 block of Jill Terrace just after 10 p.m. to find a 22-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman who had both suffered gunshot wounds.

Fund Set Up For Family Of CPD Sgt. Ed Dougherty
Friends and family have set up a GoFundMe for Chicago Police Sgt. Ed Dougherty, who died unexpectedly on Saturday. Dougherty leaves behind his wife Margaret and two sons, Ryan and Liam.
Known as "Ed" or "Eddie" to his family, friends and colleagues, Dougherty, 52, was a decorated police sergeant of the Chicago Police Department, having served the city for over 24 years, with the majority of his career spent in the 008th (Chicago Lawn) District.
