A total of 10 candidates running for five seats: Eight for 4-year terms, two for 2-year terms.

The New Lenox School District 122 Board of Education election is one to keep an eye on.
All total there are 10 candidates running for five seats—eight are running for four, 4-year-term vacancies and two are running for one, 2-year-term. The 2-year-term race includes one write-in candidate, Todd Hyatt, of New Lenox.
There are eight candidates running for 4-year terms.

The incumbents for the 4-year term are:
- Patrick Martino, incumbent
- Deborah Kedzior, incumbent
- Sue Smith, incumbent
- William Pender, who was initially appointed in August to fill the remaining two years of a term left by resigning Member Sue Gillooley.
