2022 Triple Play Concert Series Tickets Go On Sale Saturday
Tickets will go on sale from 7 a.m. to noon. Purchases must be made in person at the New Lenox Village Hall.
NEW LENOX, IL — The wait is nearly over for those looking to grab tickets for the Triple Play Concert Series. Tickets go on sale from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Tickets for the concert series are $90 each and are good for admission to each of the three concerts. Those who are interested in purchasing tickets must do so in person at the Village of New Lenox Village Hall, 1 Veterans Parkway.
Although identification is not required to purchase tickets, the Village will sell tickets to anyone living within the 60451 zip code, or to those who receive services from any New Lenox entity, including schools and the New Lenox Park District, according to Village Administrative Assistant Megan Applegate.

There is no limit on how many tickets an individual may purchase. Any leftover tickets will be available at Village Hall during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Hype for the event has been building since March when New Lenox Mayor Tim Baldermann announced the scheduled headliners. Those acts include:

- Big Head Todd and the Monsters with special guests Freddy Jones Band on June 18.
- Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo with special guest Mark Farner's American Band on July 23.
- Counting Crows on Aug. 27.
"We are pleased, once again, to bring incredible nationally and internationally known musical acts to our community," Baldermann told Patch when he made the announcement March 16. "For 13 years, our residents have had the unique opportunity to experience these talented artists right in our own backyard."
Past years' lineups have also included some big names in music, including BoDeans, Soul Asylum, ZZ Top, and Billy Idol in 2021, and Cheap Trick, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Blue Öyster Cult, and Kenny Loggins in 2019. Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo previously played at the Triple Play series in 2014.
