44 Village Of New Lenox Employees Make Over $150K In FY 2021-22

NEW LENOX, IL — To help keep New Lenox readers informed on how part of their Village tax dollars are being spent, New Lenox Patch has compiled a summary of the Village of New Lenox's top paid employees for fiscal year 2021-2022 using information provided by the Village.

A total of 44 Village employees will have earned at least $150,000 in total compensation during the fiscal year, according to Village records. The fiscal year started May 1, 2021 and runs through April 30, 2022. Of those 44 employees, 12 will have made at least $200,000 in total compensation.

Village Administrator Kurt Carroll was the top earner for the Village in 2021, with a total compensation of $277,034.73. Carroll's base salary was $202,533. The Village paid $68,501.17 in benefits for Carroll, and provided a $6,000 vehicle allowance, records showed.

The New Lenox Police Department has 25 of its officers making at least $150,000. Tops on that list is New Lenox Police Chief Louis Alessandrini, with a total compensation package of $257,687. Alessandrini's base salary was $153,000. The Village paid $104,687 in benefits, including $63,648 toward Alessandrini's police pension fund.

Deputy Chiefs Hilary Davis and Micah Nuesse both had total compensation packages of $240,242. That included base salaries of $144,610 each and an additional $95,632 each in benefits paid by the Village, including $60,157.76 paid into their police pension funds.

Police Sergeants Matthew Simon ($211,480.80), Mike Jurka ($210,180.80), Timothy Perry ($202,823.94), Dave Dileto ($202,788.12) and David Taylor ($200,809.80) each cleared more than $200,000 in total compensation. They had base salaries ranging from $114,994 to $121,170 and benefits packages ranging from $79,639.80 to $90,310.80.
