Wild West Online Productions builds website to honor veterans

Considering the upcoming 10th anniversary of 9-11, the day that hundreds of firefighters and first-responders risked their lives to save Americans, Tyler Morris, owner of New Lenox's Wild West Online Productions, can't help but to remember also the veterans and those in uniform today.

"Each and every day our military stands at the ready to defend the rights of others. Even when they're overseas, they're working indirectly to save American lives," said Morris.

It's in that spirit of commitment for the preservation of freedom that Morris and his wife, Julie, are lending their expertise to boost the visibility of a website that supports the volunteer efforts by Salute the Armed Forces. This is a non-profit organization that works to assist veterans with their immediate needs. Some need a bed to call their own, others are looking for reliable employment.

"We want to really push their organization out there on the Internet," said Julie Morris. Wild West Online Productions is digging in deep to make use of the available social media outlets, while also drawing clients to their website at: www.salutethearmedforces.org.

Salute the Armed Forces is based in DuPage County, but it reaches out to support veterans from throughout the Chicago region. "I know they've got clients in Will County, and I hope they can help them find bona fide work. Our veterans deserve to live dignified lives," added Tyler Morris.

His grandfather, Elmer Leydens, served in World War II. "He tends to get solemn when the family gathers and we thank him for his service to our country. He's not a showy guy, but he's proud of being a veteran. He's proud of those who have served after him.
