FBI Releases Info On Attempted Bank Robbery In New Lenox
The failed robber didn't display a weapon or take any money, according to police.

NEW LENOX, IL — Police reported an attempted bank robbery Tuesday in New Lenox. Someone tried to rob the BMO Harris Bank at 110 W. Maple St. at 9:30 a.m., according to New Lenox Deputy Chief Micah Nuesse.
The FBI announced they are looking for a white male with a medium build, according to a news release from the FBI. The attempted robber was seen on video cameras wearing a green pullover jacket with the word "Vikings" across the chest and an unknown logo on his hat, dark pants and a dark mask. He was also in a black soft cast (boot) on his left leg, according to the release.
The attempted robber fled in a gray or silver Audi, the FBI said. The suspect is still at large, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the FBI online at tips.fbi.gov or to FBI-Chicago at 312-421-6700.

No injuries were reported during the attempted robbery, Nuesse said. No weapon was displayed, and no money was taken, he said.
The would-be robber left the scene before police arrived, Nuesse said. Police are still investigating.
