Battery, Retail Theft, Warrants: New Lenox Police Reports
New Lenox police reports for April 1 through April 8.

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt.
April 1
- Sedgrick I. Willingham, 25, of Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol and witnessed a vehicle commit a moving violation in traffic. The officer conduced a traffic stop and met with the driver, Willingham. The officer learned that Willingham had a suspended driver’s license. Willingham was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Willingham posted bond and was released.

- Austin M. Roth, 32, of Mokena, was charged with driving while license suspended. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol and witnessed a vehicle commit a moving violation in traffic. The officer conduced a traffic stop and met with the driver, Roth. The officer learned that Roth had a suspended driver’s license. Roth was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Roth posted bond and was released.
April 5
- Michael A. Levenston, 31, of Chicago Heights, was charged with driving while license suspended and also had an in-state warrant. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol and witnessed a vehicle with flat tires in traffic. The officer stoped with the vehicle and met with the driver, Levenston. The officer learned that Levenston had a suspended driver’s license and a valid warrant out for his arrest. Levenston was arrested and taken to the NLPD.
Levenston was later taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. - Lizeth Herrera-Rodriguez, 25, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft and also had an in-state warrant. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to Walmart for a report of retail theft. The officer was told that Herrera-Rodriguez had taken approximately $238 worth of merchandise without paying. The officer learned that Herrera-Rodriguez had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Herrera-Rodriguez was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Herrera-Rodriguez posted bond and was released.
April 6

- Tawanna L. Jones, 29, of Joliet, was arrested for having an in-state warrant. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to Silver Cross Hospital for a report of an unwanted subject. Upon arrival, the officer met with Jones. The officer learned that Jones had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Jones was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Jones was later taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
- Robert Kale, 50, of New Lenox, was charged with battery. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to the 2300 block of East Joliet Highway for a report of a battery report. The officer learned that Kale shoved the victim in the chest following a verbal argument. Kale was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Kale posted bond and was released.
April 7
- Richard C. Crenshaw, 27, of Joliet, was charged with driving while license suspended. According to police reports, an officer was on patrol and witnessed a vehicle with expired registration in traffic. The officer conducted a traffic stop and met with the driver, Crenshaw. The officer learned that Crenshaw had a suspended driver’s license. Crenshaw was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Crenshaw posted bond and was released.
