A blood drive is underway today.
LifeSource of Chicago has a mobile unit set up till 7 p.m today in the Culver's parking lot.
John Thomas of New Lenox was one of the first donors.
"It's just something I've always done. If you would ever be hospitalized, you would expect blood to be available," he said.
