Despite Call for Boycott, Gas Prices in New Lenox Are Going Up

Despite a call from Mayor Tim Baldermann to boycott the eight gas stations in New Lenox because they're price "gouging," the Speedway on Route 30 just west of Cedar Road boosted its price to $4.25 per gallon of regular.

According to Gas Buddy, prices at service stations in Mokena hover around $4.09 per gallon.

In this video, one customer shared her thoughts, while gasing up the car.

Earlier this week, Mayor Tim Baldermann called for a total boycott of the eight gas stations in New Lenox because they're price "gouging."
