Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic Coming To New Lenox Commons

Flu shots, updated COVID and RSV vaccines will be available Saturday, Oct. 5.

NEW LENOX, IL — The Village of New Lenox and Jewel-Osco have partnered to hold a drive-thru vaccine clinic.

The clinic will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, in the Village Commons in front of the New Lenox Public Library, 120 Veterans Parkway. The updated Covid/seasonal flu/Pneumonia and RSV shots will all be available. No pre-registration is required.

The vaccines are free with most insurance providers (Medicare Part B and VA Insurance included), and will be administered by a Jewel-Osco pharmacist, Village officials said. Vaccines can be administered to anyone, any age. Those interested are reminded to bring their insurance card and copy of the consent form (if completed prior to event).
