Duo of Tickets for Driving Without a Valid License: Police Blotter

Two motorists were caught driving without a valid license.

THURSDAY, FEB. 14

Two motorists nabbed for driving with a valid license

Adrian Young, 30, Woodridge, was pulled over for a traffic violation at Cedar Road and Fir Street. A computer check showed that she had no valid driver's license and was driving an uninsured vehicle. She was issued tickets and released.

Danielle Vann, 29, Joliet, was stopped at Lancaster Drive and Washington Street, because police knew she had no valid driver's license, according to the report. She was ticketed and released.

Driving on a suspended license

Enrique Murrillo, 29, Joliet, was pulled over at Parker Road and Route 6 for a loud muffler. Police conducted a computer check and discovered that he was also driving on a suspended license.

DUI

Daniel Wilson, 29, of the 100 block of Pottawatomie Lane, was pulled over for speeding and a registration violation at Harvey Street and Schoolhouse Road. According to the report, he was also driving under the influence.

TUESDAY, FEB. 12

Equipment violation attracts attention

Robert Gorden, 27, Joliet, was pulled over at Silver Cross Boulevard and Maple Road for an unidentified equipment violation. A computer check showed that he was driving on a suspended license as well. Gorden got two tickets and was released.

Fraud

Someone from the 700 block of Princeton Drive told police that his credit card was used for unauthorized purchases. The amount of money illegally racked up on the credit card bill was not noted in the report.

FRIDAY, FEB. 8

DUI and failure to report an accident

Police were notified by Silver Cross Hospital staff that Tracy Ferguson, 42, of the 1900 block of Spencer Road, was being treated for injuries sustained in an accident.  According to police she her car went off the road at Foxwood Lane and Laraway Road. A police investigation indicated that she had been drinking. She was ticketed for both violations and released.
