Football: Warriors Shut Out the Blazing Trojans
The West defense was the driving force throughout the game, Sun-Times Media.
At the only Saturday night football game for the five high schools in the Lincoln-Way communities, L-W Warriors were the winners with a score of 21-0 over Bloom, Sun-Times Media reported.
The Week 2 win at Bloom was a good way to help L-W West Coach Dave Ernst celebrate his 48th birthday.
The Warriors defense forced three turnovers and recovered two Bloom fumbles. West (1-1) faces Thornridge Sept. 13 at home.
