Frankfort's Panera Bread to Host School Supply Driv

Panera Bread Restaurant will be feeding hungry back-to-school shoppers and collecting school supplies to benefit Summit Hill School Dist. 161 and Frankfort School Dist. 157-C.

Panera Bread Restaurant in Frankfort expects to be feeding a lot of hungry back-to-school shoppers this month, and serving as a drop off site for school supply donations to Summit Hill Dist. 161 and Frankfort School Dist. 157-C.

Donations can be dropped off from Aug. 19-30 at the restaurant.

Here's a list of the kind of supplies needed:

  • Backpacks (new or gently used)
  • No. 2 pencils
  • Red, black and blue pens
  • Pink erasers
  • Highlighters
  • Box of 24 crayons
  • Washable markers
  • Colored pencils
  • Glue sticks
  • Pocket folders
  • Spiral notebooks

Other items, including 3-ring binders and pencil boxes, are sure to help students in need in the community.
