Heroin-Holding Transients, New Lenox Man Caught Driving Around Town: Cops

The transients and the New Lenox man were jailed on drug charges.

NEW LENOX, IL — A couple transients and a New Lenox man were caught with heroin while they were driving around town Friday morning, police said.

Landree Carver, 29, Robert Redman, 19, and Robert Lynch, 20, all were arrested and taken to the Will County jail.

Redman was reportedly pulled over shortly before noon near the junction of Lincoln Highway and Interstate 80 with Carver and Lynch in his car.

The three had eight small plastic bags of heroin, police said. It was reportedly about a gram all together.

Carver and Redman are transients, police said, and Lynch lives on Charleston Drive.
