Lincoln-Way Preschool Registration Begins Monday

NEW LENOX, IL — Registration for Lincoln-Way High Schools' 2022-2023 preschool programs are open starting Monday and continue through Jan. 30, according to a new release from Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210. The programs are sponsored by the family and consumer sciences early childhood education department.

The preschool programs give early childhood education students an opportunity to work with children in a preschool environment under the full-time supervision of a family and consumer sciences instructor, according to the news release.

Children must be 3 years old by Sept. 1, toilet trained and reside within the district to be eligible.

A total of 16 children, ages 3 to 5, will be selected to attend a morning session for each of the three high school locations:

• Lincoln-Way West and Lincoln-Way East preschools will meet Wednesdays and Thursdays from October through January.
• Lincoln-Way Central preschool will meet Wednesdays and Fridays from October through January.
• Lincoln-Way West and Lincoln-Way East programs continue Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from February through May.
• Lincoln-Way Central will be held, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from February through May.

Fees are $35 per month or $280 per year. A nonrefundable deposit of $70 will be required of those selected into the program and will be applied to the first two months of preschool. Parents must complete the online registrations; no telephone registrations will be accepted.

The application will be available on the Lincoln-Way District 210 website.
