The author of the newly released, "It Is All About You," has a habit of sharing her skills with groups and individuals at business network meetings, over coffee at Starbucks, and over the phone if someone needs to talk through a strategy or fresh idea.  Now she's put that advice together in a book to share with a national audience.

Perry is well in-tuned with the kind of business climate that faces individuals and family-owned storefronts, at-home offices, warehouse operations, the auto-repair industry and more.

  • The Way People Work Under Financial Challenges

In the book, Perry shares her secret to success. "The most successful people are those who know who they are and what they want. They are driven by their inner compass—their heart, values, passions, talents, strengths, and interests—and not by money, fame, or power.

"Many times the outcome is money, fame, and/or power when they live their life purpose, but none of these things is what drives them. People who live on purpose do what matters the most to them. They are the highest expression of themselves, and they let go of expectations and resistance."

Perry brings her practical business coaching skills to the fore in the book. She explains, "By concentrating on your strengths and who you are innately, you will be strong and empowered. Knowing that you are born with a life purpose and using your many gifts from the many layers of who you are will breathe fresh energy and joy into your soul.

"Who you are at your very core is a powerful, unique, and valuable person just ready to bust loose. There may be concepts, habits, addictions, and beliefs that date back to when you were young that stop that from happening. And while your weaknesses may be pointed out to you on a regular basis, your many gifts and talents often go unnoticed," she said.

She invites those who are dissatisfied with their current situation to take a chance and imagine working at something they enjoy. "Money and success have become equal in today’s society. Money is very important, as you well know; it’s necessary to have money to live.

"But what is the cost of living and working just to make money? Perhaps you’re working hard at a job you don’t really enjoy, yet you’re still barely getting by financially. Has that made you wonder what the purpose of it all is?"
