Man Charged In New Lenox Gas Station Robbery Arrested Again On Child Porn Charges: NLPD
Police found the child pornography on Leonard Hunter's phone while investigating the Jan. 10 robbery and burglary of the Food N' Fuel.

NEW LENOX, IL — A man previously arrested in the robbery and burglary of a New Lenox gas station last month was arrested again on Tuesday, this time on child pornography charges, New Lenox Police said.
On Tuesday, Feb. 11, New Lenox Police arrested Leonard R. Hunter, 27, of the 1100 block of N. 112th Place, Chicago, for possession of child pornography.
New Lenox police previously arrested Hunter Jan. 27, on charges of robbery and burglary. As part of that investigation, New Lenox detectives obtained a search warrant for Hunter’s cellular phone. A search of the phone showed Hunter was in possession of 68 files containing child pornography.

Hunter was charged with three counts of child pornography. He was transferred to the Will County Adult Detention Facility pending a pre-trial detention hearing.
