Names in the News: Will County State's Attorney Jim Glasgow
A heroin symposium featuring Will County State's Attorney Jim Glasgow got the community talking about authentic support for addicts.

Will County State's Attorney Jim Glasgow was among a panel of speakers at Will County HELPS (Heroin Education Leads to Preventative Solutions). He discussed the success of Drug Court for those who have been convicted of drug-related crimes, and told a crowd of 450-plus that he would work on a plan to adapt the program for those who have not been involved in the criminal justice system.
A heroin symposium, sponsored by the Village of New Lenox, New Lenox Police Department and Safe Communities of America, was held Sept. 27 at Lincoln-Way Central High School.
